    Adwords Marketing

    if you are willing to pay per click then Adwords is good platform for you.

    What you need to have mainly is money here but don't spend too much money at first time.

    Spend less money and test any products, its conversion rate....... for example if you are paying $50 for 200 clicks then you should earn at least $100 from this.

    So if you are selling any products and if it is sold on 200 clicks then you have to calculate accordingly and if you are finding that there is any loss further then don't go there...

    How would you do that? I mean, if I wanted to use adwords to promote my site, what would I need to do to make sure that the ad I am placing will work out for the best? You mentioned that I need to make at least $100 when paying for 200 clicks, so how would you go about finding which will work the best for you?

    The key to Adwords is using the right keywords to get your buying targeted traffic and having a landing page that converts well. You can set a daily budget for an ad. This allows you to test your ads with a limited liability. If the campaign works you can go bigger, if it doesn't you can try something else. Just be careful and test everything. It is probably easier to spend more than you make than to make a good ROI.

    So it all depends on the keyword you select when you begin. I can see where making sure you have a budget to test can be important, I mean if you choose the wrong keyword and everything doesn't go well.....

    So you would then use the keywords you have researched for your site and product and use the most effective one out of that list?

    Yes, but an Adwords keyword list is often much broader than a site keyword list. An Adwords list may have 1000 - 5000 keywords. Anything in the ballpark may work - testing is the key. You need to think of keywords that would indicate that there is a possible interest and then depend on a great landing page to convert the visitor.

    Hmmm, so you would then need to test a certain amount if not all of them on a lower pricing scale to find the right one?

    Adwords are sold on a bid system per keyword. If there are bids of 5, 4, 3, and 2 the ads bid at 5 will be shown first. If the budget is reached for the 5 ads then the 4 ads start to show, and so on. There are a lot of variables with Adwords.

    It seems almost like a full time process. I think my boss played around with adwords for a while, but I have no real experience with it. It's great to learn about it though. Shows I can still broaden my horizons

    Not just Adwords, other PPC networks is also a great way to bring targeted traffic which convert well only if you know how. You need to spend time and money to find the best keyword that convert and this need intensive trial and error.
