I agree. Forum posting is a good way to get backlinks through signatures. Aside from getting backlinks, you will also learn new stuffs on forums and even get free software.

I use digxmas and its free. But I heard good things about UAW and have good experience with it as well. I use to pay for a service in other forum for UAW submission and it was great.

I have bookmarking demon but I am not happy with it so I decided to go back to manual submission and I am getting better results.

Almost all my sites were submitted to dmoz but not one of them were listed. I gave up on them since then.
