Rss Feed how to use them?

Would like to learn how to use rss feed.

I try to investigate more about this type of feed but don't understand it.

I heard too that you could submit your RSS feeds.

    Do they generate more traffic?

Your site looks very much like a WordPress site, but looking at the code it is either a custom theme or another CMS. It does not appear from the code that an RSS feed is being generated. Normally in the head section you would see some code like:
    Code:
    <link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml"
    or
    <link rel="alternate" type="application/atom+xml"
There is a site that I have seen mentioned (html2rss.com) that may be able to generate a feed for you. There are other sites that may also be of assistance, like IceRocket.com.

Once you have your feed you can submit it with the RSS Submitter tool in the IMT Tools. This generates pages with your RSS feed. The pages do get crawled and the links can be indexed.

An illustration of this from my recent personal experience - I have a few music related sites. A friend promotes an original music festival each year. I got his press release concerning this years festival and made a post including the PR on two of my music related sites. One is on a blog and the other is in an article section of another site that also has an RSS feed. I had submitted that RSS feeds when the IMT Tool became available. I have checked the results several times to track things and was interested to see that the article on the one site was showing in positions 17, 18, and 19 while the blog post was showing at 46th place. I scrolled on through the first 100 and at position 86 was one of the RSS feed links from the RSS Submitter page. It appears that the backlink from the RSS submitter page may have been instrumental in improving the position of the article link to my site. (I just checked again and the article is still holding 18, 19, and 20 while the blog post has dropped to position 66.)
