Thread: IMT Directory Submitter(Discontinued) - Free Directory Submitter from IMTalk.org

So what kind of RESULTS are you folks getting? It's a long hard job slogging thru all the non and captcha lists. I wish I had the patience to do it to an utterly clean, NEW domain with NO other backlinks to really test this out. Directory approvals are so iffy. But at least they tend to be fairly permanent and eventually show up in backlink counts. (Which is more than I can say for most social bookmarks...)

Two issues I noticed today
1. captcha Not Loading
2. Category List Not Loading(There are many sites like this)
Please have a look

Of Course we use all free and paid tools IMT Website Submitter, IMT Directory Submitter, IMT RSS Submitter and also IMT Supercharged Bookmarks. All of them are more suitable and useful for SEO,

I too had a few issues with no captcha loading, didn't take long to re-do it manually, but it would be nice if you could flag that directory somehow for other campains

Update:
As I promised 200 captcha not loading, category not loading, non working and low performing directories are removed form this tool.

Your site is soooooooo slow today. It is painful trying to submit to directories!

Hi,

this is my first time using the directory submitter tool and I feel as if I've done something wrong.

I feel like an idiot because I can't seem to get the directory submitter to work. Or I am an idiot and it is working but I just dont konw it. Anyways can someone help?

Here is what i did:

1. clicked on IMT tools and chose the IMT directory submitter.
2. in the menu on the left selected "add website".
3. Proceeded to fill in the fields(title, url, descriptions, etc.)
4. Click on button below "add website"

Then page flashes and I get a table with my data filled in and message saying website added. but the submission cell say 0 of 15XX.

then nothing happens.

So is that all there is to it. The tool will proceed to submit on it's own. So I will not have to type captchas or anything like that?

or is there another step that I've missed.

Once you click on one of those, it will ask you to chose a website, and then you can start submitting.

I guess it's that time of the month for someone...

Clearly it was an innocent question and yes I did read the "How It Works". It might be better if you had made the title "Choose your site here" insetead of making it just look like a listing of the types of sites and their PR.

about IMT Directory Submitter - i suggest to make it look like RSS Submitter when getting the report its clickable so that we can ping that links/urls and also it can auto submit waiting 3 to 5 mins of submission
and for IMT RSS Submitter - i suggest also to make 15 exact report so we can ping those "15 sites" not "10"..this is for my own opinion.. thank you

UPDATE:
It was tedious task but I finally did it
I have removed about 600+ non working or low performing directories from this tool,
then I have added new 850+ fresh directories into this tool,
which is now resulting in 1780 directories in total.
I expect submission success rates to be very high from this update.

Also submission engine and table/indexes are now optimized for speed, so submission process should be much faster now.

No it is not possible and will not be available, at least not for now, because there are few problems associated with that, until I find the solution to that issues spin syntax will not be implemented.
But there is a hack , you can edit your title and description every 100 or so submissions and it is good as spin syntax, little more work but same in the end.
