It is very fast and easy to use, it fills up all required fields for you and preselects category,
all you need to do is click the "Submit" button (you have instructions there also),
and the quality is like manual submission.

Since this tool is online(29.05.2012) it has made:
1,638,242 successful directory submissions
for 19,764 urls.


Directory submission is a long term process, one can't expect to see results in a few days.
When building links you need to get as many different backlinks from as many different websites and IP's as possible. You need to diversify your incoming links from as much diferent services as possible. You should not use just one tactic when building links, (article submission, blog commenting, directory submission or what ever), the main key to sucessfull backlink campaign is natural appearance of backlinks and natural don't mean backlinks from one service or one type of websites and all done in one go or in one single day.

Conclusion is that you can't expect that only one linkbuilding tactic will give you top 3 or top 5 or what ever google rankings. So you can't expect that directory submission alone will bring your website to the top of the google for your keywords. If you expect that then you are in the wrong place.

SEO needs planning, time, work and testing this is not something you can get done overnight!

If you get this error message while submitting :
"- The URL could not be validated. Either the page does not exist or the server cound not be contacted."

then don't skip that directory, just try to submit it one more time.
That way your submission success rate will better.

very powerful tool, thanks. I am submitting these days. I find that there are some small bugs in submitting to German or France Directories

Yes I know, will remove them eventualy and add new fresh directories soon as new version of Directory Submitter is finished.

Little updates about the tool:
- New and better way of category preselection has been added to the tool, you can check this out by editing existing or adding new website!
Now you just select category from the drop down menu and click "Add Cat" button to add selected category to the "Category List" below and that's it. You also can fill "Category List" by yourself.
- Also few little bugs and user requested changes where made.

Small bug with the "Category List" issue is fixed today.

I just want to share few interesting facts about this tool that I have extracted from my database and my logs.

In last 6-7 days since this tool is online it has made:
17.000+ successful directory submissions
for 400+ urls


Now I'm in process of adding new directories
Will update PR of each directory
Dirs with very high unsuccessful submission rates will be removed
will report when this is done

Here is a suggestion, perhaps have another sorting method which sorts by matches to the directory structure.

This way all the easy ones pop up first. Once they're done the ones that didn't automatically hit the correct categories would pop up.

Yes this was my initial plan.
This would be very bad for resources and would be very slow also, I would need to extract categories from 1800+ dirs and save it along with other directory data, these can cause many bad things and errors.
It is near to imposible for now, because every category is pre-selected only when the current directory is loaded.

It shouldn't require that much in terms of resources if indexed correctly. The extraction would take awhile, but could be updated only sometimes. The fact that you could get say an 80% hit rate would be really nice. A person submitting would eventually get around to every one of them (even outdated ones) but at the very least it would keep a rhythm going. All hits, and then all misses.

Yes I understand what you are trying to say and this would be great feature and I hope that I will find time to do this.

Extraction is not that big problem, I leave scrpt for a few hours to extract cats...., but problem is when something is changed in that category structure on particluar dir.

Every new submission is one select in database of dirs and select with %like% and order by can eat up resources even with great indexes + addition checks and logs that this script does for one fetch/select.
And mutiply this by numbers of users online, very bad....

I'm finishing adding new directories now...
Also removing ones with bad submission success
Updating PR...

Also I need to make option for multiple titles and descriptions and some more small thing and bugs...

When I'm done with this to do list,
I'm going to make a little more "better" tools, so I don't have much time right now to play around with this, maybe later when the new tools are done..

After I do all planned tools and stuff for the forum then I will tweek and play with them.

I guess I am confused, I linked over from warrior, but I don't know where to actually get this software...

This is online tool, nothing to download.

Question : say I have done all PR5+ directories, next time is there a way to go straight to PR4- directories?

It can "remember" where you have left last time, but it doesn't have option to choose dirs with certain PR's(yet), maybe in future(too bussy now).
If you are done with PR5 dirs it auto move to PR4 dirs, so you just select PR desc. optin and you will get PR4 next time.


This tool is free (for now), and I don't have donation option, but thank you anyway, if you want to contribute, you can share some money making or seo or what ever tactics with my members.

- All directories where analyzed for subsmission performance and about 200+ low performing directories where removed from this tool
- About 500+ new Directories added to this tool, so there is now 2100+ supported directories
- Small bugs removed
- Updated PR of direcotries and this is Google PR breakdown now:

PR5 - 34
PR4 - 105
PR3 - 193
PR2 - 279
PR1 - 232
PR0 - 1280


To do:
Option for multiple titles and descriptions.
Some smaller tweeks.

1. Kindly remove sex related and poker related directories.
2. In Capcha there are lot of capcha didn't show.
3. Sometimes categories don't populated.

Thanks for feedback.

1) I will think about removing this, because some pople have sex or gambling related websites and they need to submit their website some where and you can simply skip them and go on...
2) The majority of this kind of dirs are removed with last update(will remove more after weekend), if they have very high unsuccessful submission rates they are removed, also if captcha is not loaded this is logged to and will be analyzed and removed if needed, but still you will stumble on them, because this is 2100+ dirs and they are changing non-stop, so this is constant process
3) Same as above, for all dirs where category didn't loaded it is logged and will be analyzed and removed if needed.

Somtimes these dirs are overloaded and we get request timout, sometimes they are offline, somtimes they are doing maintenance, somtimes they have bandwidth limit exceeded on their hosting account, etc..., so we can delete them based on few unsuccessful loading of cats or captcha. I need to analiyze all the data and find out what is wrong and delete that dir if needed.

Hope this clears things a little bit.
