This is just a game of numbers, some sites stay some go...but I will see what I can do to update this tool

MAJOR UPDATE
Tool is completely updated.
I've collected, checked and examined about 160.000 of who is, about us, stats, type of sites.
Each site was tested if it is working or not, tested for annoying redirects and also tested if there is a live link on it.
In the end we ended up with 1800+ sites from about 160.000 total
So this is cream of the cream, enjoy

Thanks for the notification, I've removed this site from the list.

Your new update for your indexing / backlink tool includes 3 websites that I noticed were "****" websites and one was an adult sex game website.
what is the purpose of including such such as these? Can you explain how these sites benefit at all to seo and backlinking?? Are these sites legal?
What if someone using this backlinking tool for seo is using it to rank a client's site? I don't anyone that would want a backlink to their website to be
linked to a **** site. Please explain

Nemanja has provided some awesome SEO ranking tools here for us that are mostly free to use. Including this.
Sure, it has the occasional iffy site in it, but with 18000+ sites you can't really expect him to check each one individually can you?

These are mostly statistic, site valuation type sites. There may be a few iffy ones in there too.
But the benefits it can have on sites you run it on far outweighs any small iffy links you might get from it.

Google knows that a webmaster cannot help what links get built to his/her site.
That is why they created the Google disavow tool.

So after using this tool, if your site has any links you don't want you can either go to that site manually, find contact details and request the page be removed.
Or simply load the URL into Google's Disavow tool and it wont even be counted.

If your site is really popular and is an authority site. It's bound to pick up a few questionable links from time to time anyway.
But having quality links from Google friendly places and continue to build links from those put those pales those other questionable links into insignificance.

That's my take on it anyway.

Every site I've ran this on has never had ANY single problems. No Webmaster Tools warnings.

I used to use it a lot when it was first released though and there were more links in it as well.

Yes, those sites are legal. As far as that sites hosting rules apply for the country it is in. What is an "illegal site" anyway?
There is nothing illegal about sex sites. It's illegal for you to view sites like that unless you are 18+ years (in most countries).

As I said, with big lists like this, there is always going to be a few unscrupulous sites in the mix.
But the majority of sites are good clean sites and a backlink is a backlink at the end of the day.
The benefit this can have on your site far outweighs any iffy links you might get from it.
After running it, if you find any like that, just remove them how I said above and keep building quality links to your site and they shouldn't have any negative effect in the slightest.

It is very hard to keep track of almost 2000 websites, I already explained it here... Some will go, some will change owner and some will become XXX or gambling, host malware, etc...
Running all these tools and many other project as well, I really don't have time to check each individual site out of currently 1800+,
it is just physically impossible and even if I do check all 1800+ sites, tomorrow maybe 5 will insert or be infected with malware,
so does it mean that tomorrow I need to re-check them?
Following that logic, I will be checking sites from this tool the whole day, every day, leaving me no time for even going to the bathroom.

When one of our visitors/member spot site like this, she/he file such site to me and I remove it from the tool.
That said, why you didn't report these sites? It is the least you can do? Considering the time invested to write me PMs and reply here...

Also if few links from XXX sites can bring down your site or any site for that matter, then I can make such tool(with these kind of sites) where we can weed out our competitors so we end up alone in SERPs

You report them same as you PM me, you list them in PM (who knew, right?), or you can report here, same as you did to reply this thread.
If you read some posts in this thread, you could find people actually do this...

Why these sites wouldn't be legal, are they selling drugs, guns, what is illegal about them?

Again, if you find these sites then report them, we lost so much precious time here, instead if you reported them in the first place they will be already gone,
same as I did with numerous such "bad" sites over last 4 years of maintaining this tool.

I did answer you I said Yes, those sites are legal. As far as the rules of that country go.

Having one or 2 backlinks from sites like that is natural overtime.
Look at all the backlinks web 2.0 sites get. Livejournal.com has 64 million if I'm right.
There's bound to be a few dodgy sites linking to it in there.
But they still rank high because of all the other good backlinks they have.

You should be more thick skinned though for when using such public tools as this as it goes with the territory.
Its like anything, you have to accept the rough with the smooth because the benefit has been far outweighing any negative effect 1 or 2 iffy links have.

This is a free tool that has been offered to you. Like any tool, free or paid, it is up to you to evaluate the tool. If you have any concerns about the use of any tool for SEO purposes you should not use that tool. For you the solution to your concerns is very simple. DO NOT USE THIS TOOL!!

No one has explained to me what exactly these 3 adult sites are and what their content are. I know that one is an adult sex games site. The others are triple X sites I am guessing. Does anyone have any information about the content of these sites? I don't want to be linking a client's site to questionable material that could get that client in trouble.

If you're in any doubt then don't use the tool. It's as simple as that.
