Thread: Which authority site give great effect?

i really get confuse! yesterday i chat with one of seo consultant.. and i would say he is beginner in this field...

is there any different between dot gov (.gov) and also dot.gov.au (.gov.au) or something else in term of give great effect or passing some great juice?

he said if backlinks come from dot gov is more powerful than backlink come from dot gov dot au..

is that true?

same goes with
.edu and .edu.au
.gov and .gov.in
and other something like that...

It is no algorithm rule. but in fact edu and gov domain have more power , and tr beacose it private (read keep in clear - not spammed by organisations)

It is very simple. domains like .edu, and .gov are better beacose no one without educations and goverment organisations can buy it.
but many peoples think it is the same as edu.xx and gov.xx - this is not true, beacose this "edu" domain can buy everybody
