Do multiple dofollow forum links help seo?

As most on this forum are aware, good keyword rich anchortext back-links from a high pagerank relevant forum are good for

improving SEO.

But I'm curious if having a lot of them from the same forum make a difference or do search engines essentially disregard the

total number and just look at it as one link from that forum?

There is quality vs quantity factors. Having good quantity of dofollow links always help. But I doubt you can get much quality since most forum in pages doesn't have a PR.

are you trying to say link that being put at actual PR pages bring more quality&juice than link that being put at forum pages that have no PR at all

getting the links from the same forum is a bit fishy. it would be better if you will diversify your links among different forums hosted on different c class ip addresses

Google does not count backlinks from websites... rather from web pages.
If you have backlinks from different web pages Google will consider them definitely.
Make sure all the backlinks from forums are relevant to your website otherwise Google will devalue them.

Yes, pretty much this having your link on the actual PR pages is thousand times more valuable. These links are what make your site really stand out. Of course profile links if pretty much all of them have n/a or 0pr also will help

Try to get contextual links from High PR site, it will boost your site SERP. Use forum links / profile links only for yours buffer site.

I found a lot of forums are nofollow, and to many seo forums, home of high pr, but by the content page, then almost no pr, so I do suspect that forum has no effect, or that the effect is not obvious, often a blog is the best way possible, and this is the form of links to blog rounds.

If you are asking about the do follow forums its really helps for the seo unlike to those no follow..and choose forum with nice page rank and post only to active topics..
