    Yahoo Site Explore Advantage

    Hi All,

    Few days ago I submit my some site in Yahoo Site Explore. But I do not find any advantage of it. Please can anyone suggest me what is the benefit of yahoo site explore or how I can take advantage of yahoo site explore.

    Hi,

    Yahoo site explorer is to check the backlinks of a site. Better u submit ur site in yahoo directory. Hope u will get some advantage in SERPs..

    Yahoo explore just tell you how many backlinks have any site., This tools dissapear at the end of 2011

    Was there any other way to check real and current backlink? i use backlinkwatch. but they are to slow...

    Actually yahoo site explorer helps your site to get indexed in yahoo search. But yahoo will take more time to index your page.

    Yahoo site explorer is normally used to check total no of backlinks and also except that i dont think so any benefit you can get from it. Yahoo is also in process of shutting down this tool because of Bing involvement in its Search Results.

    I thought all the other backlink checkers extracted their data from Yahoo Explorer.

    No, open site explorer does not. It has better functions than Yahoo site explorer, but is only updated every six months or so.

    Unfortunately posted in a few spots on here over the last several days..... Yahoo Site Explorer is not available anymore, it will tell you to go to Bing Webmaster Tools.
