Thread: Yahoo Shutting Down Site Explorer ?

They are shutting down the service and recommends Bing webmaster tool. I guess they are shutting down everything one by one.

It means they are going to loose their popularity day by day.

They are already loosing. They haven't made any profit for couple of years now. I think sooner or later Microsoft going to take over Yahoo.

Or Google maybe? I could see it as a tactical advantage for Google. It seems like its taking the same route as myspace...

What a shame, to waist that kind of potential and already great running business....

Google is out of the picture for Yahoo search because of monopoly laws in the US. The regulating bodies would not approve an acquisition that included Yahoo search because Google has too large a share of the search market already. MS or possibly Facebook and maybe the NY Times are probably the only viable alternatives for Yahoo search.

Where did you read that "Microsoft" is gonna to take over the Yahoo or is it "Officia News"
