I think on page has more importance but with the passage of time competition is gonna tough so off page has got more importance also now.

I would personally say on-page SEO, although it depends on your competition. If you have not much competition or poorly optimised sites competing, then GOOD on-page SEO will outrank them. Although, I'm saying that after experience with my own sites which also have; exact domain name, .com, good plug-ins on WordPress etcetc.

Both are important but without good on-page seo you will likely not rank no matter what whereas I have seen some sites rank well without good off-page. Your best chance is doing both though.

I've heard this question asked many times. All I can really say is that you could use both or you could use either. The BEST method is to use both. You can optimize your web site perfectly, and then sit back and wait for the search engines to index it, but you will have a low page rank. You can neglect to optimize your website and just create one backlink to your site after the other, which, in turn will also get a search engine to index your site, but you will still not get a really good page rank.

On page SEO can have a bigger impact than off page, because in off page you are basically creating one link at a time to your site, where on page gives you the advantage of meta details, and keyword rich content.

Where using both becomes the best option is easily explained. When you optimize your site, you give a search engine all it needs to index your page into the proper category. Adding backlinks to your site shows a search engine how popular your page is. The more backlinks, the higher your sites "popularity", the higher your search engine page rank is.

The biggest factor in off page optimization is the quality, firstly, and then the quantity of the links pointing back to your site. Having links pointing back from authority sites, (sites that have been around for years, or sites that are .gov or .edu etc.), will make a page rank higher than if it had tons of links pointing back to it from spammy sites or link farms or even content farms etc.

Onpage SEO focuses on the optimization you perform on your web page. This is anything from page titles to meta details to the keyword rich content on your site and even image optimization (alt tags). Both cannot really exist on one page because Off page is creating backlinks back to your site, and these are done on other sites all around the net. The more links you have pointing back to your site, the better, the more quality links you have pointing back, the better.

I am agree with it. We can not perform outstanding without highly optimize page. Both are important and on going process to perform well during SEO campaign. Avg. time on site, Good conversion, Number of page views and Proper navigation are part of on page stuff.

Internal optimization is important for SEO. If we suppose to start link building without making high conversion page so it will not give you good result. Good optimize page will help you to achieve ranking as well as deal with proper projection of task.

Basic is on page optimization and I have been successful in correcting those sites without proper on page work to reduce bounce rate.These websites were submitted to 1,000 or 2,000 directories.No improvement even though they were ranking good for few keywords.Off page is useful to get quality links, social media optimization.You interactivity is more important to make more conversions.Off page optimization should be planned for quality results
