Just like with any lead generation strategy for social media, reach is important. On Twitter, the more followers you have, the more people will see your content.

Heck yea it is. In fact, I make sales on Facebook all of the time. If you are offering value it's not crazy to be making money trough any social media.

The problem is most people half-ass it because they are only worried about making money and they don't give a crap about the customer. This tactic will backfire. A buddy of mine tat I partner with on a lot of training is in the video game market and pulls sales by just posting updates to his fanpage. Of course it took work to get there as he had to build the page, grow fans and then must post 5-10 minutes of updates daily.

Yes it is very possible. I suggest you try Facebook Ads and you'll never get wrong with that. Facebook Ads can be set on who you wanted to target and with the millions of user it has it is no doubt you could convert pretty well from it.

Just make a squeeze page out of a Facebook page and advertise it there. Facebook is a good lead generator.

Agreed, one must always treat customers well to succeed in this world, or the business will fail

Yes, I have generated leads on Facebook. I generated the lead by staying active in the groups I have joined, listening to the requirements of the buyers and messaging them urgently. Some have responded back and got some sales in the end.
