I recently switched from one dialup internet server to another; now every 20 minutes I am being shut down. I have my idle set to "never" shut me down.
Anybody have any ideas why this is happening?
Thank you

It may be a super-policy of the ISP over which you have no control. Ususally something like that will be mentioned in the fine print of their TOS.
If you are not using a local email client, you might set one up. The client will automatically check for new messages every few minutes and may be enough to keep your connection active.
