Recently i just gone through new york city, i saw street view of the city. It is really awesome.
Likewise i have seen it for all US cities. But it is not not available for all other countries.
Google recently launched this street view service in 2007. I think it will expands to other countries in coming years.

yeah it only working in well develop countries only.
