Thread: Post your hosting provider !

I'm thinking about moving to another host, but I'd like to know what you are using for your websites. Currently I'm at JustHost, which is cheap, reliable and has good support. I just don't know what will happen if I get for example 5k visitors on my sites simultaneously...

I need to be able to host all my sites, have all the joomla and WP stuff, Cpanel, etc.

Can anyone recommend one ?

Heuh ! Missed that one...

But I don't see clear recommendations there and I'm affraid my current host won't be able to handle large amounts of traffic. So my question is, what host is recommended by others who have dealt with huge traffic in short periods or even withing for example 1 hour ? I don't want the "Cannot load page" error to show up when one of my partners starts sending out emails to 40k lists.

I have my own VPS at BoltWebHosting.com. The great thing is that the owner, Chris Little, is incredibly responsive and will work with you to solve whatever your problems are. I have a number of large Wordpress sites there, and as we all know Wordpress is a resource hog. Chris has helped me through a number of performance problems by tweaking things in the VPS or teaching me what to do so if it happens again I cab solve it right away.
