Thread: Who has a ecommerce shop and which system do you use?

Hello members,

please help me alittle bit. I have programmed a SEO Tool for static websites and as wordpress plugin. Now i think i can make the same tool for online shop systems.

Here in germany we have xt:commerce, os:commerce, Gambio and xtc:modified ( based on xt:commerce ).

tell me which systems do you use, especially FREE systems, because my tool must be free of charge.

i use prestashop. for me this is most powerfull commerce platform

Try magento. It's as far the most advanced ecommerce store solution. And it has a community edition that is free.

I know a friend who uses Opencart. Its pretty good, looks very professional

I tried a few and Prestashop continues to amaze me. I highly recommend it!!!

I do not have ecommerce website but as having web design and development business, I usually recommend open source Shopping cart CMS like Magento or OSCOmmerce which can be available free and so client just need to pay for programming only. If client is ready to pay more and having requirement of implanting customize shopping cart CMS,I prefer to have Asp.net.

Try prestashop...

I've put together a WP e-commerce site with Instinct plugin as well as Magento and a Magento with xsilva front cash register system (paid). Magento is nice and there is a plugin to use same theme on wordpress blog for the shop as well!

Why? If you recommend software, you need to at least back it up with a good reason/proof.

I use prestashop and i agree with anaboli.org till now prestashop is powerfull commerce platform for me....
i'm glade you want to make some tool free of charge... i,m waiting for that...

one of my clients use opencart which is pretty good

prestashop is my favorite - regular updates, great security and very easy to administrate.

I love wordpress, so I would check the different plug ins available. There are several to choose from out there. Search them in Google.
