Thread: wordpress css accidentally replaced with other code, how to recollect?

Friends today I have faced this problem.
by mistake I have replaced other code into main css.
fortunately I have back up if not it's tough task.

do you know any other ways to recover deleted css from wordpress website?

If you have a backup, just re-upload it. If you do not have a backup, shame on you. If you didn't have any custom work done to it, download the theme again and upload the css file. If it was custom and no backups, maybe your host but you are probably out of luck.

Your points are cautious. As an experienced web designer i will take hardly one or two hours to write the entire css code without single mistake.
but I'm sharing this is like an experience to Junior web designers.

Back-up should be the first thing to do if you are trying to change something, else be ready to face the consequences. This is a very tips for any website designers.

Thank you so much for your useful tip. From next time i will surely take a back up then only go for changes.
