Thread: A good free PHP Comment script ?

Can someone suggest me a good free comment script ?

Currently I use a their party tool called Intensedebate but I think it's safer and better developing my own using a free php script.

I am using one that I found at: WB - Webdesign for beginners

There are a few changes that you need to make in the config file so that it is harder for spammers to find, but it works. Also rename the folder before installation.

The major drawback is there is no provision for admin editing of comments, only delete comment.

The Script looks neat. I will download it and test. Author hasn't updated it for a while so I wonder if he has give up on improving it. Capcha is not very good and need to be replaced with a better one.

How about intensedebate? I think it is awesome comment manager

Everything is great about it except they keep all comments and data not us. Otherwise their system is great I like it.
