I agree with Delois. Content is the king. As per search engine algorithm as much unique content that much get ranking rapidly. I personally believe that when you are doing Social Bookmarking and Directory submission, you have to create unique contents that means change title at every 10-15 submission (SB or DS) and change description every 20-25 submission. I sure that, by this strategy you will get effective search engine ranking.
