Do you think back-links form Wikipedia worth or effective for SEO ? Those are noFollow and as to Google nofollow links have no seo value. Even Mat Cutt guy confirmed this about Wiki links. But nobody really believe him 100%.

i think is it important, specialy for bigger companies, famous people or Brands. For "normal" people it will be hard to get a entry in Wikipedia, and you need to deliver a very high quality text about you. As well you need to show what you write, that they stuff can recheck if it is true. I tried once for a famous friend of mine from Switzerland to change the artikel about it, but it failed becasue i could not proof the things, becausue it was on the time before internet. In that case very hard.
Even if you write good content and even if your site is full of it still it's quite hard to get a link from Wiki. Even if you are an experienced wiki editor still everything you changed will be double checked by others and remove if they think links are not worth it. Normally if the linked site has AdSense or Affiliate ads then link get deleted.
I don't think there's any harm in getting wikipedia links. After all, the topics from it appear on top of the results so it would be good to have another source which would direct traffic to your site. Plus, people are impressed if you have a wikipedia page about your company. It counts a lot on the people's mentality and you would still benefit it from the point of SEO directly or indirectly.
I don't say Wiki links do any harm. And yes you can get traffic from it but do those links has any SEO value ? Would those links help linked pages to improve SERP ? I have seen several services in other forums calms they can give you Backlinks form Wikipedia Which would stay at least a year. Have no idea how they plan to do that.
They work great, as always you can test for your self and report back.
I explained about no follow many times here, just build some no follow links towards your website and see what will happen.

they work very well, do follow is important for your backlinks mix.. no follow works too, I have seen reports of site ranking well with just no follow links, think about it... natural linking would have lots of no-follow you wouldn't have any control over that...
go for it, it works!
I don't think about the value of the backlink from wikipedia but they already send me a lot of traffic to my site and till now I still juice backlink from wikipedia
