Thread: What Happened With My Site?

a few weeks ago, my site has good traffic source from search engine about 70 - 100 daily. but now, only 1 - 8 daily, sometimes i not get any traffic from search engine. anyone can explain this?.

my site getting it, since i buy links at blackhatlinks ( $ 10 for 100 dofollow blog comments ). but the result i getting like this. how can i out from this problem?.

It might be those backlinks you or it might be the penguin update.

Your site has no text content, has it ? With last Google search Algo updates contentless sites might have bit hard time to rank in SERP. Also you might need to reconsider about your backlinking strategies. Keyword phrases as anchor text no longer work like before. I remember Nemanja posted a link to good blog post about this somewhere.

I suspect that you were on first page for a keyword you were not working on. It was a bit of an eye opening experience to see your site listed at #4 of over one billion results for the keyword phrase 'play for fun'. Now if you had a #4 position for a phrase that people actually searched for you would be sitting pretty. The traffic drop that you mention could easily be the difference between a page one and a page two position for a keyword with moderate search volume. When picking keywords to promote you want to be sure there are actually enough people searching under that keyword to make it worth going after.

I looked at the code and noticed duplicate title and meta tags. Do you have more than one SEO plugin? Duplicate tags are often the result of using multiple SEO plugs. Mistakes like that can also have a negative effect on your search engine results.

i don't get any message at google webmaster, but i seen if my index pages are dropped, just got 28 indexed pages from 984 submitted. a few weeks ago, i had around 400 indexed pages, but it's dropped to 28.
where i should added the text content?. any solution?. but for every games it has text description and instruction about games, and it's also have tags to optimize the seo. anyway, i hope you can give me links of nemaja post.

thanks to inform about meta tags to me, i was removed the meta tags, i think i'm doing mistaken in editing the templates, but it was fixed now.
but i have little question about my title site, my first title i used Kutagames - Play For Fun, but i got advice from my friends which he understand about seo, if it's better changed it into Kutagames | Play Online Games. what do you choose for it?. i'm still little confused about that, cause i think "Play Online Games" have many competitor, so it's too difficult to get good indexed at google. And my keyword "Play For Fun" has get great indexed at google.

well, you are running on av arcade i hope, when ever you add a game, all you have to do is just try to have your own game description and exercise that keeps standin many.

usually i edited the description, especially for games which have short description. but sometimes i'm too lazy to edited it.

Choosing the best keywords/phrases is important but difficult. You need keywords that people will use when looking for what you offer. I suspect that most people that search under the phrase 'play for fun' are looking for free online gambling sites. If they are looking for gambling sites they are unlikely to check out your site. A 'golden' keyword would be one with very high number of searches and very low competition that is relevant to your offer. Those are not likely to be found, particularly in competitive niches because everybody is looking for them. The best keywords to use need to have a balance of the factors involved, and then you need to promote them.

A page 2 or page 3 search position for a good (high search volume) keyword may bring you more visitors than a #1 position with a keyword that few people will use in a search for what you offer.

you're right if 'play for fun' just for gambling site, but i think it's too difficult to find golden keyword which it's has low competitor, anyway thanks a lot for the solution. it's really help me.
