Backlinks are important because it helps in both the indexing and ranking of the site.

Both are important bu ti said indexed is more important because without index you go no where on SERP

You're a bit confused mate You should primary focus on quality backlinks pointing on your site as those are the main ingredient for google ranking. After there are many ways to index your backlinks and main site , you can search for some free indexing tools on google

Both are important as stated here by others. However, I'd have to say that backlinks are more important. I have sites with literally 10 pages that rank high and make good money versus other sites that have 3000+ indexed pages that break even.

If you have both, then you most likely aren't reading this forum, because ur poppin Cristal on a daily and don't know where you are right now...

first getting your page indexed is important then you can drive quality backlinks.
