I want to rank at the first page of google for the classified ad I posted. Which means if someone searches google for my targeted keyword I want my classified ad to show up in the results.

just add the keywords on metatag and title and target the keywords.
just do some link building, social bookmarking, social media, article submission and directory submission for the keywords.

What's your keyword? I never seen any classified ads on first page of Google results.

It will take time, but remember quality links are important then, quantity. use your keyword while doing Seo, and also you have to work with on page optimization to suit the Google requirements.

find some quality add posting site and put your keywords and link.

I assume you're saying you posted ad on some classified website...

You will be restricted in the link building methods you can use since it's not your own website.
So it won't be easy.

Ex: Link exchanges you can't, directory submissions you can't, press releases you can't, but you can others:
article submission
guest blogging
blog commenting
forum signatures.
