What make Alexa with my side ??? Can every tell it ???

for those who have good alexa rank for them it's important

those who always try and not getting good alexa for them at one stage
they start to hate alexa and bcum uselss for them

Well, it might matter if you are looking to sell your site or want to sell any services and prove that you have that much amount of traffic rank to your visitors to make a strong impact.

Basically an Alexa ranking is not important. Having a high or low Alexa ranking does not help a site one bit, unless you want to use it to impress people who are impressed by this sort of thing, but do not understand it.

the more low ranking you got, the better impression in term of amount of traffic to your site.. by having great ranking does not mean can convert the traffic into sales

Alexa ranking is very important for every website.

The only important thing is sales. You can have a very good Alexa score but no sales, or the other way round. At the end of the day your focus should be on making conversions, not getting a better Alexa score.

I am happy to join this debate. Sometime back I came across a similar question. I feel Alexa rank only provides you with a measurable stand of your site in terms of traffic. It's good to have it although it doesn't give you 100% accurate information. If you want to get accurate information, I always advise people to use statcounter.com and Google Analytics. You can also use compete.com but that's a paid service. I also think your site's Cpanel can provide you with reliable information on traffic. I use all those tools to get informed about how I am doing in terms of traffic. It's always a good practice to track the traffic that comes to your site to make decisions from an informed point of view. For that matter Alexa will provide you with some information concerning your website as well as other websites. For instance, I installed their toolbar on my site and any website I visit I will get first-hand information about it's rank. Though not so accurate, it will throw light on the kind of site I have visited and make good decisions if I am to have any further dealings with them.

I personally see no value in Alexa, short of the fact that others do...if you're selling your site then your Alexa ranking can be helpful with that, otherwise its traffic ranking and ratings are too skewed to be reliable. Alexa is useful for finding some of your competitors backlinks though.

Alexa ranking is used as a big factor in valuing the advertising space on your website by, A higher positioning means more money in your pocket. Alexa rankings are being used increasingly to leverage blogs, despite the fact that the numbers can be horrendously manipulated.

To get alexa in your side huge traffic on your website is must as alexa ranking is based on the no.of visits done on a website.

Not just that, Alexa Rank is measured on Traffic, Reach and Page Views. So to stop people buying traffic

That totally depends on what you are trying to do with the website.
If you are using it to monetize with CPA or some other methods then it doesn't actually matters.
But, if you are looking to sell it then it would for sure.

To some extent the Alexa ranking is important. It gives you a primary idea about the popularity of the website.
