Thread: What is 2nd tier ?

Can somebody explaain me what are 2nd Tiers ? Please expain me in easy words. Im not english or american guy

Im asking because of .. The Supercharging Boommark Tool is using this and i have no clue what this is.

Second tier affiliate programs are like this:

You sign up as an affiliate and you refer others. You earn money on those who buy through your link.
Usually the commissions on the first tier are between 50% and 75%.

Now, if someone you referred refers someone, you make money on that newly referred person.
That person is your second tier commission if he buys. Second tier commissions are usually between the 7.5% and 15%.

Like the pyramid priciple, only 2 layers deep...

In off page SEO, as in the SuperCharged Bookmark Tool, second tier backlinks are backlinks that point to a backlink rather than to your money site. The second tier backlink helps your first tier backlinks get indexed. A backlink that is not indexed is of no value to you. It is a good practice to build second tier backlinks to all of your primary backlinks. At minimum ping the URLs where your backlinks are located. Better is to build an RSS feed with the URLs to your backlinks and submit that feed through the RSS submitter here.

Does it make Sense when i make 2nd Tiers Backlinks to the primary Backlinks who ere already Indexed?

It won't hurt and may be of some help to maintain or add some juice to those backlinks. It is also possible with any link to gain an occasional visitor.

I have some article directories. I recommended to my authors that they build some links to their articles. One posted links on Craigslist for a couple of articles. I don't know if they clicked through to the author's site, but I saw a few visitors to the articles from those links.
