Thread: What can I do to increase DA of my blog just like PA is growing?

Hello Everyone,

I started running a blog just 1 month back. Its page authority is 29 but domain authority is still 16 only. What can I do to increase the DA of my blog just like PA is increasing? Please suggest.

You need to get some quality backlinks from other domains with good DA.

making good backlinks is only a simple thing that needs to be considered for increasing your DA and this is only true, you may receive many comments suggesting many things, but your remember that this is right one.

Try to backlink your home page on high quality and high PR site..

i think you should treat DA the way you treat to increase PR.. it works actually a little bit the same.... so same as other member mentioned above.. focus on quality backlinks

As far as I know DA increases only if PA of all pages increase but if we are focusing only on homepage then its PA will increase but there will not be much effect on DA. In the latest update DA of my site has gone to 19 and PA to 30. I want to take these figures to 40+. So please give your suggestions what to do.

I have heard somewhere that sites buying links and sites selling links will be closely monitored by Google and many might get banned in this update. Regarding my site, DA has now gone to 21 and PA to 31 so I think it might go more higher in the next update.

Dont be concerned with DA of sites, leave it to Google. Increasing DA or increasing PR is not a guarantee to success of your website. Just try pulling traffic and PR and DA will increase with time.

I disagree. There is a better indication that high DA sites rank better than high PR sites. Go on over to Moz and check the research out.

How can you Improve your domain authority??

There are many sites with good PR and satisfactory DA which are just unable to generate traffic compared to many 0 and 1 PR sites which with all natural ways are generating excellent traffic and are ranking better on SERP. Yes PR and DA are good factors about your site, but your traffic is not dependent on those factors.
