Who is Responsible for Dropped Keyword Rankings?

Have you ever wondered why your site ranking goes drastically down? It is definitely because of the Google that the site ranking either goes down or goes up. The site rankings visibly go down when there are certain Google updates. These updates leave a positive impact on some of the websites which causes an increase in the ranking of the website and sometimes these updates leave a negative impact on certain websites leading to decrease in the ranking of the website. It is because of the search engine optimization techniques that they follow are not quite friendly and meet the terms laid down by the Google. Therefore ultimately who is responsible for the decline in the website ranking?

Well if we want traffic from Google we have to do as they say or find other places to get traffic. Some thing must do unless you have an authority site.

Yes, I am agree with you. If you want traffic from Google then you can do in unique way.

ultimately we will have to be dependent on Google because we can not expect "n" number of visitors through referral links or affiliates(there are some exceptional field like casin0 or xxx industries) and if we can, it will cost us a lot.

No we don't. There are plenty of other ways to get traffic. Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, StumbleUpon and plenty of other ways. Also there are so many who focus only on Paid traffic. They don't bother about Google traffic at all.

Definitely there are other ways to generate traffic but isn't it that much hard in comparison to search engine? Some sites like stumble sends decent volume but the fact is in most of the case, it also increase bounce rate.

1. Using Huge Exact match anchor text
2. Change in the Search Engine Ranking Algorithm
3. Malware or Hacking
4. Canonicalization Problems
5. Broken links
6. Server Problems
7. robots.txt Issues
8. Duplicate Content

Of-course Google is not responsible if your ranks fall due to poor marketing strategies. We must understand that Google is not an enemy of any website in particular. It is just trying to combat spam, black hat, etc.

In-fact its one and only aim is to provide its users with better search experience.
