My Alexa rank was around 250,000 global in October 2012 and has blown out to 450,000 now. I am also interested in other peoples experiences. I got hit hard by Google. My traffic has been reduced to about 10% of what it was before G's EMD roll-out but I don't know where I am going wrong. I have 100+ pages of unique content, pretty much white hat promotion, my serps have dropped from first page to not in top 100,my earnings have been effected proprotionally. Anyway, I will see what others have to say.
Alexa ranking has not anything to do with your earning. Alexa ranking is a comparative ranking of different websites on the internet depending on their traffic. Although alexa data is not very reliable and can be manipulated easily. Google analytics is far better to tool to track your website performance.

i would say it really doesnt mean much. alexa ranking that is. cuz even the traffic it ranks you for is based on the number of people who have the alexa toolbar installed in there browser. However it does helpattract advertisers in a competing niche if you are looking to make some cooperate advert money. My advise? focus on real traffic and get your site doing well as far as real visitors are concerned. you will earn more that way... Alexa will come naturally when you get more popularity in your niche.
Alexa is too easily faked and manipulated to mean anything. Just look on fiver, plenty of people will get you a low rating for $5. Now does that suggest its a statistic worth anything?
Alexa analyzes web usage from traffic data sources including their own Alexa Toolbar users to eventually create traffic rankings for websites. Alexa doesn't have impact on blog traffic and earnings.
a large number of alexa rank means thay your site is less popular. the most popular is 1, and you say you are 450k, so that is very far. you should have a lower number so that you are ranked higher. but alexa rank is just an index of site’s popularity. It has nothing to do with content quality of your site. so it does not mean that you'll have more earnings if you have good alexa rank.
i think alexa rank are affected your earning if your site traffic are good your alexa rank are good and your website having a worth in search engine google ranked your keyword and you making a google revenue i think best alexa rank under 10,000 these are earning are good and well known site in search engine nice job keep it up
