Placing direct Amazon affiliate link on Squidoo lens, Youtube, Facebook Notes, etc has been a hot discussion on my local forum. Lots of affiliate marketers consider it is against Amazon’s ToS since there is one point on their ToS stated: “You’re not allowed to place your link on site that is not your site.”

Since I’m also wondering about this issue, I then contacting Amazon team and they’re replied:

“First, I'd like to start off by apologizing for any misunderstanding.

Anyone with a website may become an Associate. This may include your own website, your blog, or your own Facebook or Twitter page. You are eligible to place links on your blog. You are also eligible to place links on Squidoo lens and as a Facebook note, as long as the Squidoo lens and Facebook page is yours.”

So, don’t worry anymore about placing your Amazon’s link on these mentioned websites. It’s all safe and guaranteed by that statement!
