My best bet right now are Linkshare and CJ, I have experimented with other (clickbank, amazon, etc) but only at my early stages of IM business.
By far best way for earning larger sum of money is to have your own product and have your own affiliate program promoted at that affiliate networks.

Using CJ right now and have some good stats with them.
Didn't know about linkshare till now.
yes admin is right, linkshare and commission junction is widely use among other affiliate program though im not using both of them. im using other affiliate program especially adult affiliate program
commission junction offers competitive rate and has good sets of programs. I do use it eversince and pretty much iam earning steadily. you can never go wrong with CJ as i can atest that to you
Yes its very good. I have many friends who do this. And they earn a lot of money. And they always saying me that use this affilate program.
I love CJ. It’s one of my primary sources of income
How hard is it to get accepted into CJ? Do they run a telephone screening?
No phone screening - its all based on review of your site. They also maintain minimums, you can be reoved from their program if you have 0 affiliate sales in a certain time frame. You can get an extension 1 time.
I have had good success with CJ. They are good at paying which is all you really should care about. I use CJ for certain programs and linkshare, pepperjam, google commerce and amazon for others. It all depends on what programs, products you want to promote on your site. Check the different programs to see what they offer as far as merchants/products you want, then compare commissions to see which is highest. Amazon has that blanket % structure which is a turnoff. Some affiliate pay by % some by lead, so be sure you check which works best for you and your site.
- Unless they owe you money. If you have an unpaid balance in your account they will not suspend the account, but you must also sign in to your account at least once every 30 days. They provide a lot of information about your account, so checking regularly can help you understand what is working for you. They also maintain minimums, you can be reoved from their program if you have 0 affiliate sales in a certain time frame. You can get an extension 1 time.
Once you are approved you can add other websites from your account UI, so submit a good looking site. The advertisers also must approve you. Many use an automated approval process but some manually approve applications. Some also have an additional TOS document that you must esign for approval.
