Expectation and demand when buy IM product

There are tons of IM products that include ebook, software, services, etc.So what do you expect when you want to buy the product and do you demand for better improvement?

in my view, when i purchase, i expect the product first thing first, there's no 'hype on the sales letter but the real product (walk the talk) is really delivered to you.

and also i can demand the better improvement and fully customer support.

and the last thing i really expect the author of the product really make the product on its own, that means, original content by the author, NOT copy paste or recycle product

I totally agree with you franberries, everything you said is important for me too, plus:
I expect some kind of warranty, or at least "money back guaranty"
I expect something more than that usual landing page: thin, long and red text. I get the feeling that I am scammed.

If its a book, then it pretty much depends on you, and what you take from it. There are a myriad of well written ebooks out there, with a wealth of information you could take from it, but if you don't see it, or implement the strategies, then you have lost out on money (in a way). With services, a guarantee would be nice, but many will argue that not everyone would get the same results all the time, as everyone has different niches.

I guess, I would say that, I don't need a product or service to claim that it can get me the results I need, but it can help, or exceed it. But a safety net with a money back guarantee would be nice, in case things don't work out as planned. If you create a product or service, make sure you can deliver, or over deliver, guarantee results, but don't promise what you cannot do. If someone promised me something outrageous so that I would use their product or service, I probably wouldn't, because I know he wouldn't be able to deliver.

First of all, I don't believe in any guarantee given when you buy some sort of click cash software.
It's usually a misleading salesletter and the product cannot deliver on its promises.

However, if you'd buy an actual training course they expect you put in effort and time to make it work for yourself.
The promise I'm giving with my product is that you'll see what you're doing online from a completely different perspective and that if you execute the strategies correctly you'll definitely build a business online which will make you a lot of money. It all depends on how much effort you put into it and the market you're going to participate in. Don't expectthe money to roll in within one week, but be a bit patient and you'll see unexpected results...

Mind you, there's loads of people out there selling "The Ultimate Method", but most of them are based on outdated and obsolete techniques.
One thing you should know: techniques and methods are temporary...Strategies are timeless and always work.

To be perfectly honest, I can care less about the sales letter hype. The best and worst of marketers do it to some extent. Sometimes the actual product is garbage and sometimes it's great...rarely do products ever live up to the hype, so I put very little emphasis on the hype...good or bad.

I care more about the author and do my research on him/her to best determine if the product will be valuable or not!

i totally agreed with kenster, reputable author will bring reliable long term customers. Sometimes when the 'reputable author' give an honest review of new product, maybe we can decide to buy or not to buy based on his 'reputable' honest review

What I expect from an IM product is a match between the content and what they say on a sales letter. I am still using the old way to determine whether the product is qualified or not. I only buy products that have obtained quite a lot of testimonials. Their sales letter is also need to be honest and not excessive. Last, they should be able to show proof of income that is not modified.

Unfortunately they are very expert in copywriting. No matter how good their sales letter doesn’t guarantee its contents. In fact, almost all IM products I bought were not meets my expectation.

I've seen hundreds...if not thousands of salesletter, but most will NOT deliver on its promises.

A while ago I ended up at a salesletter where they promised the worlds best commission making software (yeah...again the ultimate software...) and it turned out to be a cheap rip off of some article submission script.
    Worthless cr@p that is...!

    Always check google:
Search for (product name) review warriorforum.
The reviews on the WF are honest...from buyers.
If it's crap they'll post it...if it's really good they'll post it as well.
If it's OK...they'll usually tell you cpmparable products or for who this would be a good product.

Yep, 99% of the time it's the same crap wrapped in a new sales letter. Screenshots of high earnings in affiliate accounts (photoshop or merchant account screenshots), some lists of "No SEO, no PPC, etc.", some video of a guy living in moms basement posing in front of the neighbors Porsche. The only products that are really useful are sold like regular software: With a list of features, screenshots of the actual software, a list or updates, a user and support forum.

If you look at a sales page, remove all marketing talk, fancy screenshots, rags to riches stories and see what's left. If there is nothing left, it's snake oil.

Well, yesterday I found one product that sold more than 4000+. Is it mean that product high quality?
I would say yes and i believe it because the product was created by two big name in IM world.
However, when they're selling this product in massive way i think the effectiveness wouldn't be the same as before.
Just imagine! 4000 new people will using the product....

So, sometime what makes IM product not meet our demand isn't because they're not effective/work but because it's saturated due to massive buyer.

This is NOT necessarily the case.

Keep in mind that starting entrepreneurs have no clue where to start, what to use and are easily convinced a product works.
They don't know how to find trustworthy reviews and testimonials about the product. That's exactly whom these misleading salespages are made for.
So, imagine the seller has a huge list of affiliates, all promoting the product to their big mailing lists. That could definitely generate lots of sales, but doesn't mean it's a good product.
And believe me....most of these affiliates don't give a rat's *ss if the product is a scam or not...they just want to make money off your back...

Also, most starters don't have the courage or the idea how to request a refund. Or they'll be struggling with the product long enough to exceed the money back guarantee period.
