Thread: Your success story ?

Thanks for sharing your story WinK0r, Do you only use AdSense ? Haven't tried any other affiliate networks like ClickBank or Amazon ?

I use many affiliate networks and have made some affiliate commissions. The only one I have collected so far was from Google affiliate network because they lump the payment with the Adsense payment. I have accounts at CJ, Linkshare, PepperJam, ShareASale, Google, ClickBank, and Amazon plus an independent affiliate program with a niche book site. The niche book site is related to one of my more successful sites and I have made a sale there. I have also made a couple of sales with CJ products.

My primary problem is low traffic counts. I may serve 20,000 pages across all of my sites this month. This boils down to lack of/poor SEO. My visitor counts have improved significantly since joining this forum and using the IMT tools.

20,000 is not bad. You should able to earn at least $100 with Amazon alone with 10,000 UV's per month. I use low priced items and still get around $100 per each 2000-3000 UV's I receive. Maybe your conversion rato is too low ?

i'm doing it with a day job, i know i must work hard and push myself to the maximum limit of working, sometimes i also feel down and depress about my achievement.. but i have to be strong

Thanks for the questions and comments, they make me think and analyze. Much of my traffic is to a few of my 'hobby' sites. These attract people looking for information rather than products. The clicks on any ads on those sites are a bonus. I put up some article directories and most of the traffic to those is authors checking that their article was published. Very little of the traffic is to the real (potential) money sites. The info sites could probably be monetized better, but the traffic that they draw is not a shopping crowd. The authors click on ads more frequently than I would have guessed.

I know that feeling, I was in the same boat as you.
For about last 6 years I was working at my day job and then when I come home I was working every day till 1AM-4AM chasing my dream.
Sometimes I didn't work for 5-10 days at all, but then again working like mad man

Thanks, glad that you are inspired with my IM journey...
You just need to work hard, read a lot, read between the lines and never give up.

Never give up is one of the biggest factors. Sometimes it takes longer than you expect to get good result. You just need to hang one. There are no shorts cuts or easy ways.

I created a forum marketing blog and got to first rank for my keyword. That is when my blog was shut down!
So i got my own hosting and started from there! So much better to have my own rules.

I first made money from adsense which I got banned.

Now I got my own hosting and made a few sales wiht clickbank!

WOOHOO!! But I am trying to rank first again for several keywords!

Don't stick with one niche or few sites. Explore and find new niche markets. Things like article directories don't have a bring future IMO. Get into Affiliate marketing That's where you can find all big money stuff. AdSense is good but there is always the risk of getting banned. When I ve started earning money online I thought it's all about AdSense but it's not.

I am 15 years old. I have only been blogging for a little while now. I have done tons of SEO and I’m all over the web. I have worked with some of the biggest Internet Marketing names , for example Brad Callen.

I have started my own SEO company and have a blog network of 57 blogs making 3 – 8$ per day with adsense. I have also created and marketed 14 products. I have made money doing Facebook marketing, and I now have over 15000 Facebook fans spread out over 7 pages.

I also have taught SEO and I have run webinars to help people with SEO. I also have built and list of 15,000 people in the Internet Marketing niche.
I first started in April of 2009. Blogging has helped me a lot. I have made thousands of dollars with Internet Marketing and I hope this will inspire other people to work hard and keep up and succeed with Internet Marketing. I did and have done well , even through my first 5 months, I made almost nothing .

Is it necessary to have 57 blogs? I am also planning to start at least 10 blogs on different keywords. Will you guide what should I do and what should i do not?

I wish , but they where (and still are) one of the first biggest names in IM industry,
older members will know what I'm talking about,

I earned my first 1$ online in 2005 from AdSense. It took me over one year to each first $100 because all my sites were new. Second at network I have been successful with is Amazon. Again it took me like one year to reach my first $100. I used all blogspot sites to earn from Amazon since those were getting lot of Google traffic and I started earn around $50 per month from each blog with my own content. Then blogger started their witch hunt to crack down spam blogs and Affiliate blogs so things started getting bad. It seems having affiliate links in every post was taken as SPAM even posts contained unique content. I lot almost all of my Amazon earnings and traffic. But a good lesson learned ! use your own domain names and hosting. That was over 1 year ago now I'm again building up network of sites with my own domains. So My goal for the moment is earning combine revenue of $5000 per month. There is a long way to go but my plan is to reach it with in 3 years.

I'm also interesting in CJ and Click bank but haven't starting using them yet.
