apart from adsense and affiliate marketing, what are other viable methods one can use to generate income online?

I think adsense is good but it takes some effort. For approving adsense on your blog or site it must be 6 months old as well as have unique and fresh content.

Other similar networks like adsense such as adbrite
You can also earn by freelancing
If you have a product to sell that you can sell in bulk then try trading sites such as alibaba

There are more than a way to make money online non Google Adsense and affiliate programs ..You can profit by providing services that can be implemented by properly and you can profit from writing articles and you can profit from building blogs and websites and sell them and you can profit from review sites and submit reports there are lots and lots of ways to profit ..

create good website with some PR3-5 and go for pvt. sponsors to buy add space on ur site

cool though but you only make pennies with most of the methods listed here apart from adsense the others are just pennies
