    Drop Shipping ?

Anyone runs a drop shipping business using Amazon or e-bay ? There seems to be several big China based drop shipping supplier companies but they have month fee too.

Anyone experienced in this market ?

    re: drop shipping

I used drop shipping out of a california based company. I used a china company with a monthly fee of $9.99 and had to refund $3000.00 out of my money back to customers that never received orders. I will PM you this evening (Texas time) with the info for the drop shipping company from California. I never had an issue with them and I owned the site for 3 years then sold it about a year ago. Is it okay if I PM u the information later today?

I know you mentioned amazon and ebay and you are probably waaaaay more experienced then me at this but the way I did it was had my webstore on my own domain then attached the amazon and ebay store to the site. Ebay raised some hell so I to take them off but never had an issue with amazon. I created an ad that sold the idea of me creating other web stores for clients and The money from reselling the stores surpassed the money I generated from actual sales. I also used an email campaign for the web store resell ad and I was literally converting sales through the auto responder campaign of 1 out of every 300 recipients. I have no idea what the statistics are on mass emails but I was making several $$thousand a month so I felt it was great. For what it's worth just thought I would share that with you in case you can grab some ideas from it.

Seems you had a good time apart from the Chinese company problem. I agree with you about their problem. You can't relay on them for shipping. I haven't done drop shipping but I have a friend who do it small scale. She has several methods like get stuff from yard sales and sell on ebay and Also buying promotional stuff from Amazon and auction it in E-bay with more profit. she is having decent profits I think but have hard time to scale it up because she has 2 small kids loll.
