I think it is no so important. But chatting feature can be placed out of the forum. Somewhere like to another place same as how IMT website submitter is placed :)

This is not an important feature and prevent the actual forum from growing. The site needs alot more posters to put something in like that.

Well in this time you are not right because its not so important.You can do other works.

its great, how ever it consumes more resources, maybe the forum can get slow. One vBulleting forum I know got that problem after enabling live chat.

And what about a little Nofollow Shoutbox??? Displayed only on Forums Page??

it would be great if the chat feature same as facebook chat, i think the chat features also give an advantages to the members, members can direct contact and fast reply if need support from the forumers,
