Thread: 5th IMTalk.org Activity Contest - $100 first prize!

Hi,

This 5th contest is also very simple and about activity points

You may noticed that this activity mod has been updated(wrote about this here), so they accepted my suggestions about contest part of this VB mod, so now we have real features .
So contest have new options like contests now show the current standing, email/PM winners, link to discussion thread and some more.
And we need to test it now, right?

So here are the rules.
First member who reaches 1000 activity points in one month will be awarded by $100.
So contest is starting today 01.11.2011 and will be ending when someone reaches 1000 points or in one month from now 01.01.2012 if no one reaches that 1000 mark.

Some forum are excluded from this contest,

You don't need to apply here for the contest all members are included on auto.
You can track current contest standing and
also once someone reaches 1000 activity points that member and results will be known here:
Activity Contest Results
winner will get auto PM notification.

If no one reaches 1000 activity points in a month period,
then we will start new contest next month, starting from the 0 activity points and prize money($100) will be carried and added from last months to the new contest, which will then result in $200 prize money for that next contest and so on...

Please note, as always only quality posts/threads, no low quality posts in order to raise post count(especially thank you type of posts) and no cheating,
if someone is caught posting low quality posts, spam or cheating in any way that member will be instantly and maybe even permanently banned from here.

Please ask here is something is not quite understandable.

That's quite amazing. A user got banned instantly. Who was the unfortunate guy? A personal request sir, if any one else gets banned, do we get a second chance?

He was hammering forum with "thank you for this", "thank you for that", "great share" type of posts... So he got 7 day ban...
