WARNING with using Swapes.com

Hi there,

It was suggest a long time ago that using Swapes.com was a great method of attaining facebook likes, +1's etc and I have had some limited success with the site.

There is a method to acquire 'points' in order to boost your pages, which is an automated 'web surf' which runs through web pages and you gain points for effectively letting the browser go through the pages. On several occasions I have recieved a variety of malware and spyware which has been troublesome to remove.

Tonight was the final straw for me; and I've had to format one of my hard drives and purchase an additional piece of anti virus software to remove a deeply embeded virus that was implanted in my PC.

Therefore, I'm writing to purely inform you of the risks with using this aspect of their service (and perhaps similar sites), as I would hate for anyone else to experience the same as I have - as they clearly don't run virus scans of the URL's they allow their users to add to the site.

I tried the service, but prefer Keeko.com now. Have you tied it before?

I had signed up on keeko.com before - but that said, hadn't used it because I was reliant on Swapes.com due to the easy way to earn points via the web surf option (which as said above, didn't turn out well for me!)

Anyway, I'll give keeko a bit more of a go and see what I can do! :) Cheers for the reminder

I had an account there but later I have found better alternative to that website. And eventually I stopped using that regularly. Now I will refrain myself from it completely.
