Thread: Why I select Drupal

Drupal is very much popular CMS. Here I mention some points that why I select Drupal.

• You can easily use and update Drupal based website
• Drupal is open source software, which is free to download so you don’t need to pay money for it.
• Drupal has huge developer community support, so you can get easy help for your queries.
• You can easily integrate third party modules like blogs, forums, e- commerce, press release, etc. into your Drupal website.
• Drupal uses Apache’s mod_rewrite to enable customizable URLs which are search engine friendly and user friendly.
• With easy to use web user interface you can easily manage your content text, video, blog, polls.
• With Drupal you can easily connect your website with other sites using aggregation, feeds.

I know that many developers have preferred Drupal but Joomla seems to have a more recognized name. How would you compare the two CMSs?

Drupal is much more powerful than Joomla, as I saw in three years.
