Spammers giving me more Site Impressions and higher CTR :)

Unbelievable! Today I got over 300 Comments in my Wordpress Blog and 50% of all Comments are Spam comments.

But Im not angry of these Spammers, cause they giving me more Site Impressions and a higher CTR at Adsense. So I can earn more with a click.


Why my Blog got spammed?
I dont added any Captcha Code for Commenting in my Blog and also all Comments are Dofollow... thats why my Blog got much traffic also from Bots.


What do you think? Are Bots a good "Viagra" for your CTR at Adsense???

Most comments to my blogs are placed by comment spam bots, there is no real visitor involved at all. I can tell by looking at my server log. If there is just a call for the comment page with no visit to the post page it is the work of a bot. Real visitors have to download the full content of the page so there are many more calls to the server. Most spam comments only show one or two calls, they don't download css or images or scripts. If there is no call for my favicon and other auxiliary files the page was never opened.

I think they are automated softwares, not real people !!! me too get lot of spam comments, but not as much as u get.

i also get a lot of spam comments, some of them use software but some of them are really want to comment at my blog (because they didn't put any website link or just fake email)

How does it help AdSense CTR ?

I mean if these bots click through AdSense ads at some point you blog can get flagged, can't it ? I mean Advertisers can complain about clicks or AdSense might take those as bot generated clicks ?

To be honest, one of my "dofollow" blogs gets probably half of its traffic from people wanting to comment and finding me via CommentLuv and other tools or listings.

actually what I really need to find is dofollow auto approve blogs. I checked on commentluv and I couldn't find auto approve blogs until now. I have more than thousand blogs dofollow, but not auto approve.

Spam can be a good thing.

lol. That's good that spam is increasing your traffic.
But its not real, they are proxy bots.
Scrapebox. This might affect your google adsense account. :P

I am going to give a try to these things on my blog. Now my blog DailyTop15.com is now Do follow and without any Captcha. I have also installed CommentLuv Plugin. However comments still needs to be moderated by me .

It mostly incease your cpm. Which in the end makes how much money you make with per click. If you would have made 1 for the click you proable get 1.50 now.
