Thread: What WordPress plugin can you not live without?

I have about 10 active plugins on my website and I don't think I can deactivate any of them

The most important one for me is ad-injection. It displays adds anywhere you wish and in any type of order, without that my earnings will drop to nothing!

Whats yours?

My important FREE plugins:

cbnet ping optimizer
spam delete (because i dont use aksimet)
xml sitemap
related posts
social media buttons
adsense plugin

and in some blogs i use PAY plugins for different goodies :-)

first thing first, of course akismet or any other spam counter plugin, if you don't install it, for sure you need to get your hand dirty by clicking delete button, the more you delete, the more will come, 2nd is google XML sitemap, 3rd is all in one SEO.... and etc

All very good plugins, damn WP for having that many good plugins we need!

if you have WP blog that need to update regularly for sure you need to have lot of quality plugin that can help you along the way, but if you have static site, or sales page, or squeeze page that use WP platform.. i think 2 or 3 plugin which are important only just enough to help maintain the site

I update mine every day or every 2 days to keep it fresh

Oh there 5-6 plugins I use for very Wordpress blog I make.

akismet < This plugin is a must Good thing it comes along with the WP script
xml sitemaps < Very simple to use but very useful
seo all in one < Another nice plugin
DB backups < an old plugin but still works fine

lol that's easy. BlogSense & WPTrafficTools because my income depends on them!

But not mine I like, Akismet & Quick Cache & Yost SEO.

Of course I use Akismet. But I don't delete the spam posts.

I edit the spam posts. On the Edit Comments page:

Name: the name of the website
E-Mail: whatever email the spammer used
URL: any one of your pages, for instance: http//(www)(dot)yourwebsitename(dot)com/(the-slug-name-of-one-of-your-pages)

This creates an internal link. I edit the content of the spam post so it makes it look good.
