if you have hostgator you can set it really fast with fantastico, i can set up a website with the articles en everything in less than 30 minutes, and you can use onlywire to bookmark it, the you can do article writing, PPC with facebook to promote it

you dont need to pretending...if you will be active in forums and blog, you can learn a lot, responding to posts and asking questions and also earn signature of your site:)

All I can say that wordpress is great especially when it comes to blog.
That way you can just download the plugin install and then.. boom your site is fully seo optimize. And that's simple!
You need a webhost for you to start. There are free of course but not too reliable it has a limitation.
Especially nowadays, a lot of internet marketers are using the wordpress.
For me wordpress is definitely awesome.
I know after my post a lot of you say... yeah.. there is another blog better than wordpress. blah blah
But for me, you get to have a wordpress if you never use that, I guess you miss half of your life.
