Thread: changing WP theme

I have my own blog and i've recently in last 15 days tried my theme two times and since then have seen drop in visitors from google, does theme changing have any impact or this is just usual?

This really depends on many factors, your niche, seo, serp, google, maybe your theme...
This is something you need to figure out ny yourself.
I would say that it is not much likely that traffic dropped because the new theme.

I am doing lot of link building for my blog and i can that all are being indexed in google so what else could be the reason

Maybe new links, if you blog is new dont go to aggressively with new links.
Sometimes when you are building new links, rankings can dropp or bounce around, then they come even higher, I have experienced this many times.

Maybe your new theme has improper tags?

I heard that this kinda effect can happen when you change the theme, but its just for a small time period, so don't worry.

Well if you are using a heavy theme which takes time to load visitors might close the site before fully loading and move to next site in result. It happened to one of my blogs when I tried to use this flashy theme which looked soo beautiful. Didn't work so I had to changed back to my old boring simple but fast loading theme.
