Need secured plugin to disallow and delete spam comments wordpress website

Wordpress is the most popular and free content management system. *We can design beautiful websites with wordpress and add content pages easily without knowing bulk code also.

After installing wordpress website we will get spam comments excessively. *In order to avoid those comments we can install *many themes. But in my experience I found that 'disable comments' plugin is secured and safe.*
After installing you just make 'disable comments everywhere'. It is free and secure plugin in my experience.

If you have any doubts or views on wordpress please share.

I use "Disable Comments" plugin on all my WP websites, never had problems with spam using this plugin. You can also switch comments off from the code but it is kind of hard sometimes with some themes. So I recommend using the plugin.

Why in the world would you want to disable spam comments? As I (and some other members here) have explained many times, the spam comments can be edited. Almost everything within the comment can be changed into something you like. All that remains of the original spam comment is the link back to the original author, which counts as a link to your site. Spam comments can be your friends if you handle them correctly.

Why would you need a plugin when wp has an option to disable comments in the Reading section?

Agreed with westsider, you can use comments to your advantage sometimes, just remember to edit everything and delete their url. When comment spam becomes too much, just disable or use Akismet which comes with wp as default.
