All I can say is that you used Digital Point forum as an example because this looks just like it with different colors. It has the color scheme of Business Advice forum and the subforum that DP has. I'm not saying that is a problem. In fact it is very good. I might join very soon.

I think this day is not a day where people love to visit website with full width, mate...or at least this is just my personal preference...
Anyway, i think the placement of sitemap in the bottom of page isn't good...it's hurt my eyes.
But in other aspects (design, navigation, etc), i think i have no suggestion
