    Please review this site asap

Hi everyone, recently I have work on a project Science supplies
before say anything. The current color scheme is not what I originally design.
The Owner has replaced the original banner and logo( original height :110pxwith a huge banner.
replaced the body text with image.

So advice me how to tell the owner what he has done will affect his site in search engine.
current state the site. it does not look good on different platform/ screen resolution.

    Wow... That's bright and green.

Tell him just how you have told us here?

At the end of the day, it is his/her website and the changes they chose to make are their decision.

Have you finished your job on the website? If so, then you can leave it alone.

IF you haven't, then you could always ask them not to interfere with the design/code whilst you work on it.

    The header image looks pixelated

If they have replaced body text with images then that will harm SEO because it will not be as keyword rich and will have no content

Also I don't think it looks very good, maybe my personal opinion but if I wanted to buy something of a lot of value then I would look for a site which looked professional before I even thought about buying.
I go by the rule, if a company has enough money for a quality site then they must be getting money from somewhere. I go site > review > price.

I also did a quick search in Google and found no reviews, for a company with "25 years" experience that is pretty poor

    I hope that helped

If all else fails you may want to ask them to remove your link. That site could loose you more business than you might otherwise gain.

Yea, if they don't cooperate then remove the link. Also you may not want to add it to your portfolio if they are likely to change it from your design, potential customers won't know the background story behind why they changed it

That kinda happened to me a few years ago. I designed 2 pages for a fansite for NIN and Marilyn Manson. The designs lasted about two months, and they changed it without even giving me cred for work done, or a link to my portfolio. In the end all I could do was chalk it up to experience, and move on. If you can find a way out of this, I would do that asap. Like everyone says, it could harm you more than help you. Also, maybe look at your contracts you use for clients, and refine the rules, so that if anyone breaks it, you don't get any kind of negative affect from their actions.

If they changed some of the images etc. what you could do is make the footer an image map and create a clickable area with your link, therefore making the only way they can remove the link by redoing some graphics. Not something I would want to spend my time doing

Lol they changed both pages. I guess in a way I can understand it. Baby bats that didn't really know what they wanted or how things are really done. Its understandable. But that makes you pay attention the next time round. Believe me. Its a learning curve you keep with you and add to the longer you design etc.

Good luck webdesigneriqbal. I hope things work out well for you.
