Success with forums

I wanted to know if ever someone has got backlinks success from forums.

I have recently started with forums but I cannot see any backlink. Does it take time to get indexed.

If you have gain success with this method, could you please share.

Not sure whether forum posting alone can help to improve SERP's but I can say that the forum profile links get indexed by google, thereby giving a dofollow backlink to your site...

Ah you mean only the profile link will get index. Not the post on threads. But how can backlinks be obtained from forums post

Yea it times to get indexed but those arent really the backlinks that count. Forums arent really good for backlinks, but great for traffic. Try networking with people, posting your website articles here, etc try to gain traffic. thats more important. But as far as SEO go, forum backlinks do not bring in much juice.

Some forums will work for backlinks some won't,
but basically forums are great for traffic if you know what you are doing... links are just a bonus , which then can go viral
So before you know it, you can have more forum posts/traffic and backlinks, etc...

Agree with you ... Niche related forums are a great source of targeted traffic !! I used to get good traffic from forums when I had a blog in blogging tips and SEO niche.

I thinks its depend on thats forum quality itself
if thats forum have high PR and huge trafic thats you should try its.

Forums are the best way to create backlinks and to get a traffic on your website but it also depends on the PR of forums.

PR really doesn't matter when it comes to forum traffic. Important things are how big the member base and how many of those are active members. Might not be great for likes but forums act like great Link indexers.

most forums will let you put a link in your signature, that is a way to get a back links, another is once you have commented on a certain amount of posts your links can get approved as part of your signature in the post etc... profile and posts are a good way to build backlinks, but remember to keep your links diverse from multiple sources.. natural!!!

Like many others stated, the backlinks from forums don't really yield the results you want based on time and investment. However it's great to help build a brand, whether for yourself or business because you are interacting with people within your industry and community.

You may need to ping your forums so that your links get indexed well. So, you get backlinks after that.

By forum you will get many traffic but which are nofollow forum may not get backlink by the forum
