I'm doing lots of directory submissions for my websites and having some great results with it. Some people say that directory submission is not that good for backlinks as it was few years before, I disagree on that.
You need to build backlinks from dirs as well and you need to submit youe website to as much as posible dirs you can. Also you need to find niche related dirs and submit to that dirs also, this is veyr imortant, if is dir of good quality and your niche related you can even consider to pay for inclusion.

I completely agree with you. But nowadays its not easy to get lots of traffic from directories, as so many peoples are submitting it as for their profits... And thanks for the helpful link...

I found some best directories online, those are blogcatalog.com & blogtoplist.com that really generated me good amount of instant traffic.

I am also agree with Admin. I also us directory submission and it really works great for me. I just choose those who have at least 1 pr and the same matching category to my site.

I know how boring is to submit your site into different directories but yeah my friend its a boring stuff which gives us traffic, backlinks, money.

honestly, i really dont have an idea what is a directory submission is. i want to know how to do it since many people in DP asking for directory submissions service and i might use it in my own site.

I somewhat agree with this, because directory submission has played a very important role in creating effective backlinks. I just want to know if a blog can be submitted to a directory or not?

Directory submission is great way to get more traffic and making backlinks.

thanks dude for clarifying things out and now i am quite knowledgeable what directory submission is. since i already know some of the concept, i rather use it to drive traffic as well too.

Of course we can get quality back links from it as well as money. But, I haven't got any traffic from directories yet

Do anyone of you having a good list of high PR directory, i need to submit my blog i few high PR directories as next PR updates is in this month.

You only can submit PR's to PR websites and dirs that accept PR's

Hopefully, your still adding these to your directory submission software.
