though i have been submitting the website to many directories (by IMT tools also) there are no backlink generating ? any suggestion guys..m i just hopeless or it needs more time?

it all depend on various factor. Not all directory's owner approve your site immediately, once you get approved via email conformation, you just need to ping it for better indexing rate
