Thread: DMOZ fast approval.

It has been about 9 months with no result for me.

takes two weeks for my blog to get into dmoz. seems to be a fast and friendly mod.

Two Weeks?! I've never heard of anyone getting into dmoz that fast. Lucky you.

i think it really depends on the category and mod

I don't see any reason many still take DMOZ seriously nowadays. Its time has gone past.

8 years and around 10 submittals and still waiting. Even tried to become an editor numerous times. Its run by idiots. Some of our competition have up to 3 listings.

DMOZ is the hardest directory to reach. I ever found a people offering short way to get listed by paying certain amount of money but I didn’t take it since I don’t know if it’s true/scam. Listed on DMOZ directory is really great. It’s not only giving our site more value to search engine but it also boost the price if you decide to sell it on Flippa. Etc.

No, it would take 3 to 4 months to approved.

I prefer add my site to DMOZ... it's spent 5 minutes and I'm sure it could make me no harm

I am waiting for one of my site for almost 2 years now

I have been trying to index one of my website for over 2 years with no luck. I even paid professionals to list it.

The only thing you can do with DMOZ, submit it and forget about it. If you are lucky you will get it listed.

you may have to wait a year to get approval or they may have regected your site..

Same here posted on DMOZ around 3months back, Not Accepted yet WOW. Stopped using DMOZ already, such a waste of time.

Is DMOZ worth the submitting too nowadays?

Actually there are many sites who don't approve. I am also wait for approve.

DMOZ is dead. I have submitted about 20 websites during last years. Only 1 of them has been accepted, a non English website. So my experience with dmoz is bad.
