The biggest problem with social bookmarking is those sites you see today won't be found tomorrow. Also these scuttle sites and pligg.com sites are not really bookmarking sites. Well there are some but more are just domain reseller setup these scripts so their domains would gain some backlinks. After couple of months they would remove bookmarking script add new layout and site and they put it on sale.

So here are some real social bookmarking sites. Each of these sites are different and you will to find how u put your links in and how to make those public. But it's worth trying because these are real sites.

yeah.... most bookmariking ste based pligg don't have long aged, after we tired publish on them the site be gone

Yes. Also another problem is you might get a black-link but you don't get traffic from those Pligg sites. Only webmasters who want backlinks use those not real users. But you can receive real user traffic from sites like Stumbleupon, Delicious and Reddit. I found some niche targeted real Pilgg sites too. They owners taken steps to add custom template etcs. I think these sites would last long. I will post that list here too later.

SB sites from Pligg and drigg doesn't give me anything. Most of them are dead with no more than a year

so true, I saw a list of 38k bookmarking sites, no that's not a typo, 38,000... but in the end there is only about 100 real ones and the list above are from the best... don't waste your time trying to bookmark to any of the other, there not real! unless you use a private site ones like here on this site, there is value there too , almost forgot

Yes using something like IMT supercharged bookmarks would be the best say since all these bookmarks get automatically pings too. Those huge site lists are waste of time.

True pligg sites have a short shelf life. But that is why we hit them hard and constantly to keep the numbers up

I have couple of real Pligg bookmarking sites. Trying to find more of these to do manual bookmarking. Because these good Pligg sites give you doFollow links only if you get number of votes.

You are right and I fully agree with you. We should trust only real and reputed Social bookmarking sites. A new site that has started social bookmarking submissions can be available for sale anytime the site starts getting good rank and huge traffic. We should never waste our time with those sites that re less than 1 years of age.
